air show

We live near the St. Augustine air port and I've been trying to catch these planes practicing for air shows for a few weeks now. Finally I was home with my zoom lens during a Friday practice! There's an air show here on Memorial Day weekend. Very cool!

strawberry party

Just in time for the warmer weather, I was asked by a friend to create a strawberry birthday party for her daughter Audrey. I think the invitation and cupcake circles turned out so cute! Love the pink, red and green colors for a fun strawberry celebration! I took this photo of Audrey in Oct. 2010 for Halloween, but it works perfectly. Can't wait to take more of her at her 4th Birthday Party!

theater Thursday

Here's my little Kyler (and Andrew Philcox portraying her twin brother) ... this was taken at a dress rehearsal a few weeks ago for "Gypsy" the musical, on stage each Thursday through Sunday (Feb. 3-March 6) in Limelight Theatre, 11 Old Mission Ave., uptown St. Augustine. Kyler and Andrew are in the opening scene. So cute!

Play description — Overbearing "Mama" Rose is determined to break into the bigtime by pushing the vaudeville career of younger daughter June — but the dying vaudeville circuit and one desperate performance will bring the spotlight to elder daughter Louise, soon to be known as Ms. Gypsy Rose Lee.

Shows are selling out quickly! For reservations, call 825-1164 or go to limelight-theatre.org.
