As a Florida native, I am finding that the older I get, the more I am appreciating the scenery and feel of old Florida. The oak trees, palm trees, dirt (sand) and leaves ... and the less I like what this state is becoming. Thankfully, we are preserving places like these ... Alpine Groves park is on 54 acres, along the Bartram Trail, and on the St. Johns River. One word: GORGEOUS!
