A day of Summer Surf Sessions will be available on Sunday, July 8 at Vilano Beach. This will be the last day for photos this summer ... with fall sessions beginning in September. The theme will be vintage, with a surfboard, picnic basket, beach umbrella, and other props. Get your outfits ready now ... simple sundresses and shorts, or vintage sunsuits for the little ones would be cute! Session times are posted at the right on my blog. Valentine's Day cards

I can make simple Valentine's Day cards from photos of your children. Just let me know if you need them. Cost is $5 for the image, which I will email to you, and you can have printed at any photo lab. If you sign up at snapfish.com, shutterfly.com, or other sites, you can sometimes even get free prints! Or you can clip coupons for prints from Walgreens, or get good deals at CVS, Walmart, or Target. I also will be doing a one-day photo session for new Valentine's Day photos soon. I'll post the date and session times soon!

reminder to be JOYFUL!

The joyous smiles in all of these photos remind me to laugh a little more with my children ... something we adults forget to do sometimes in our quest to be "perfect" and have the "perfect" children and family. Having fun and being happy is the most important gift we can give to ourselves, our children, and our families.

black friday photos

My midwife and friend, Anah Marks, was a little stressed when I arrived for photos at her house on Black Friday. She was out until 3 a.m. shopping the night before, then had to get her three boys ready for photos by 11 a.m. ... not to mention she cooked all day on Thursday for Thanksgiving! But she looked beautiful and pulled it all together! I know she will be so pleased to have these photos to remember the good (and crazy) times with her family — and dogs (... did I mention that I am in love with her giant dog Maggie, and Mesa loved the little chihuahua!).

Oh baby!!!! This newborn baby boy is precious ... and his family is so happy that he is here just before Thanksgiving! If you still need family photos, I have three spaces left this Saturday, Nov. 26. Please let me know!

Times available are 11:30, 12, 12:30, 1 and 1:30 p.m. I'll take photos in the downtown St. Augustine plaza, in front of the city Christmas tree, and at the end of St. George Street. Not all the photos will be holiday-themed, so you will have several options. Individual photos of children and siblings also are included.
